Designed and manufactured in Canada to withstand aggressive road salts, the Arctic 6-Foot Galvanized Steel Hopper Spreader is built for commercial contractors and municipal fleets tackling tough winter routes. Featuring a 1.22 cu. yd. capacity, its v-box body is constructed from hot-dip galvanized steel to provide maximum rust resistance and structural integrity season after season. Material delivery is powered by a high-torque dual-electric motor drive operating a heavy-duty drag chain conveyor and a 12″ galvanized spinner, casting ice-melt from 4 feet up to 30 feet wide. An adjustable poly/stainless chute with a quick-pivot mechanism simplifies cleanout and unloading at the end of a shift. Standard with a protective top screen and capable of spreading bulk salt, sand, or mixed materials, this Canadian-built unit delivers long-lasting reliability for 3/4-ton and larger trucks.
